""Overall, I'm delighted with our performance today. We've been gaining momentum over the nine games and I think that fans saw today how I want my teams to play" I really do hope he refers to the win rather than the 70 mins of dros and boredom that were served up before the goals....

...but 3 points and above Burnley :-)

the next 3 games are winable, I dont care about anything other than getting the 9 points

Strange, I don't recall there being 16 attempts on their goal.

There were easily 16 attempts on goal, it's just that most of them were rubbish until N'Gog got on the pitch. We looked quite ineffective through the middle without Mark Davies' guile and Eagles' insistence that he kept coming inside when the ball was in our possession in the middle of the field meant that Charlton could quite simply bunch up in front of goal and we couldn't break through with any sort of decent chance. As soon as the first one went in the game opened up and the second was fairly inevitable and after that we just kept the ball - the proper way to close the game out, rather than trying to hide in the corner. I still believe we need a better striker and we're going to miss Mark Davies almost as much as we've missed Stuart Holden, but the signs look much better than they have done.
