16/10 goal attempts/on target. We are definitely improving in this department. I was disappointed in the whole game but hey, if only one more of those 10 on target had NOT been kicked down the throat of their very good keeper we could have had the three points. Please learn your best team and formation soon Dougie! But we still did NOT LOSE!

Yeah I was sick of them constantly aiming the shots AT the Keeper.

Seems a lot less panicky at the back, Mavies did some nice runs, Chungy didn't do a lot, Eagles had a so so game, but our finishing was really poor. Performance is Definitely improving, but even with our current setup and recent changes we should beat this type of team easily. Disappointed to be honest. Expected and wanted a win

.....and to mention the ref ! There is a massive difference in ref quality compared to the Prem. couldn't believe some of the decisions.....

Agree with all of the above. I feel like the new manager feeling is starting to wear off now and couldnt help leaving the Reebok feeling a bit deflated on saturday. I/we must remain optimistic its far too early to ask questions yet. On the positive Jacob Butterfield looked useful and more than capable of a pass or two, if a little off the pace. Shame we dont have him for longer could prove useful. What is going on with Sordell does anyone know? is he a gobsh**e or what?

Most important thing for me is to see whether the DF team LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES! Will someone please find out the reason for the ommision of Alonso? He has not tweeted for days - court case in Spain? Also sorry to hear via Twitter that Mr X is leaving Vital Bolton in the new year.

until such time Freedman can develop a potent attack force, able to score from the chances created, which is the key to success for every team, the team is going nowhere. its unlikely the current forwards can score goals with the consistency needed to win games regularly and climb up the league, so we might have to wait until the new year by which time two thirds of the season has passed and our promotion chances will rest on the point gap at that time. Whichever way you look at it we need to go on a run of winning 5 - 7 games on the bounce if we are to rocket up the league and get into contention. For the time being steadying the ship is important but big improvements in results will be needed, sooner rather than later, if we are to stand any chance at all. Hopefully we will become a more formidable force come Christmas when we could see Holden, etc back in the team
