P3 W1 D1 L1 Pts4. Thanks Jim, Sam and Jules. Par for Whites fans. 2 points less than target. Guess the feel good stuff ran out. Does this make me negative? Or a realist? Good luck DF. Please turn our club round. We have seen enough false messiahs.

which ever way you cook it the taste is the same, just over a year ago we had 2 fantastic goalkeepers and a young lad with promise, now we have a young lad. In the last two games he has spilled it twice costing us 3 points. The consquences of Coyles actions, just in the goalkeeping position has been disasterous, effects across the whole team has been tragic. Well thats Skippy's opinion anyway. Good luck Mr Freedman

Welcome to Bolton and good luck Dougie. You don't need me to tell you how crap our defence is, but I will, it's really really really crap.

I know my lack of positive comments is frustrating to others, including myself, it doesnt help keeping my eye on the facts, 15 points from 13 games, 3 points above the relegation spots, 13 points off the top and 11 points off the target. November could define our season, 6 games against 5 clubs above us in much better form, Freedman has a tough baptism with our next 2 games against the top 2 teams, the only salvation being they are both home games. With home advantage and a new boss to fire up the team we should see the best from the players, I hope this can deliver the victories we desperately need and kick start our season. Whatever happens across the 6 games, come the 1st December we should have a better idea on the early impact Freedman has had, where he feels improvement is needed in the team and importantly where we stand in the league and where this season is taking us. Is that okay Skippy ?

I was thinking during the game that if this was the way our players were trying to impress the new Manager then they must be pretty stupid or very unfit after 2 quick games. In general it was back to square one. I watched Ream particularly here and at Wolves and he is worse than useless. Good luck Doogie! Coyle has managed to ruin whatever skills this group of players had.

That was Mears of course NOT Ream (although he is only slightly less worse!) - I must be dyslexic
