Sell Out Away Support Hope For A Bolton Good Friday

Sell Out Away Support Hope For A Bolton Good Friday
Bolton will travel to Leeds on Good Friday backed by a sell-out away support.

Usually a club who charge extortionate prices to get inside Elland Road, tickets for the game were still officially £37, but the offer to season ticket holders, offering a second ticket free of charge, has gone down very well, with a large home crowd also expected.
Wanderers have achieved a few big wins over the wrong side of the Pennines. Their largest away win in recent years came at Leeds in 2014, when five different players got on the scoresheet for Bolton, Zat Knight even doing so. Meanwhile back in 2002, we won 4-2 there, after both teams scoring early, three goals were scored in the last 10 minutes, but of them Michael Ricketts` penalty and Henrik Pedersen`s effort to seal the three points were decisive. A year later, Kevin Davies and Stelios scored in a 2-0 win.

Back to 2018, and Ken Anderson revealed in his latest column yesterday that the team will stay in Leeds overnight before the game. While I get the thinking, it`s only an hour away! In any case, it`s an opportunity to take maximum points, given Leeds have performed as bad as any club in the division since the turn of the year.

The EFL have revealed that Geoff Eltringham will referee the match, while Oliver Langford will take charge of Tuesday`s home six-pointer against Birmingham.
