April Vital Bolton Player of the Month: Vote Now!
What a month April turned out to be. A winner at Southend where we thought promotion was secured, a three game winless run where our lead evaporated, before the return of our target man and back to back wins to seal a return to the Championship.

We've picked four players, vote for your pick using the poll facility. We'll announce the winner on Friday morning, and we'll be doing our Player of the Year vote next week.

Dorian Dervite

I like this new Dervite. Wheater and Beevers rightly get so much praise and are seen as a pair, but the Frenchman has really settled into what is now a triumvirate in recent months, and the ball he provided Jem Karacan for the first goal on Sunday was incredible.

Gary Madine
He only played two and a half games, but his efforts to play through the pain barrier in the last two games should be applauded. He was rewarded with a goal at Port Vale for his efforts.

Jay Spearing
Probably the pick of our central midfielders during a tricky phase when we went three without a win. I thought he was good at Oldham, when they sniffed him out eventually, that`s when the game started to turn against us.

David Wheater
Consistently good at the back as ever, and also managed to bag two goals in the final two games of the season to help us over the line.
