Bolton Wanderers: Intermission

So it's Saturday evening, the Temple of Doom is on TV; and the biggest news in the BWFC world is that Fabrice Muamba, who yesterday received a doctorate in recognition of the work performed on him by the club's doctors (what?), has shaved his head, grown a beard, and started wearing glasses. Gripping. Let's get back to Indiana Jones.

Wait a second. We have some transfer news. Romeu hasn't signed for us. Lonergan hasn't signed for us. What. . . we've told you already? Sorry.

So it appears we have hit a bit of a dry spell on the news front, but I'm sure this should change by the time Wednesday night comes around. We play our first pre-season game against Ayr United, who today beat Motherwell 4-0. Considering the shambles that is Scottish football, I have no idea how impressive that result is or what leagues the respective clubs might play in next season.

I hope we'll have more to tell you about tomorrow. Indi is trapped and the walls are sinking in. Bye.

I see in the paper this morning N'Gog wants to leave :-) Nothing against the chap, but we need a goal scorer...
