Stiffs at Home to Liverpool

Bolton reserves entertain Liverpool this evening at Leyland. After last season`s title win, achieved mainly with academy players, it is something of a come down not to have won a league game this season. The side lost both centre backs at the start of the campaign with Blazej Augustyn choosing to leave the club and Jaroslaw Fojut being away on loan. The loss of the defensive solidity has been costly.

Tonights visitors are vying with Sunderland for the league title, so tonight would be an ideal time to break the winning duck. Anything that upsets Fatty Benitez can only be good.
