Dougie And Co Travel To Crewe

Bolton made it through the first round of the league cup against league 2 opposition on Tuesday, we'll have to overcome lower league opponents again to get into round three.

The reward for the three-two extra time win at the Macron Stadium against Bury in the first round is a second round meeting with league 1 outfit Crewe Alexandra.

We'll be away this time, going to Gresty Road the week commencing August 25th as Dougie Freedman (I say Dougie and co, I assume he will still be in charge?) sends out the boys looking to secure another cup win.

Can we do it? I reckon this will be tougher than Bury, and by all accounts that was very tough at times!

Mr Ecky and Nicky Crompton are still, for now, having a staff writer to help fill in!

This site is always looking for bloggers, so if you're a fan that can offer us a genuine opinion we would love to share it with the masses!
