Bolton 'Close In' On Charlton's Dorian Dervite

All too often you hear that old chestnut 'sky sports understands' and it comes to nothing but they might be onto something with their views on Dorian Dervite.

The former Tottenham Hotspur defender previously expressed a desire to stay with Charlton Athletic and was offered a new deal but with both parties unable to agree terms the defender is poised to leave the Valley.

Championship sides will rival Bolton for his signature but the thoughts are that the club are 'closing in' on his signing with him agreeing a three-year contract to come to the Reebok Stadium.

From what I've seen, and heard, of Dervite he's a decent footballer who if Bolton are able to sign will benefit the defensive options to Dougie Freedman.

Thoughts?

Mr Ecky sends his best to the Vital Bolton community, he's currently not well, he'll be back as soon as possible and in the meantime, he's got a staff writer to fill in for him.

If anyone has something to share in the meantime (this gives a genuine Bolton point of view from a Bolton fan!) feel free to fire an email through.

Please include your username so I can put that to it though.
