This One Just Ain`t Happening
Bolton fans have been playing 'Name the Next Manager` for some time, so it was inevitable that the press would join in at some point. The Daily Mirror is the first to show with a feature on Italian fruit-loop Walter Zenga. Almost sounds like 'Wenger` doesn`t it?
It`s an amusing read, but the Mirror needed a link into English football to justify publishing the story, hence the connection with the Whites, who ought to looking around for next occupant of the Reebok hot seat.
Bolton as a Megson-free zone is a comforting thought, but there`s more chance of Mr Blobby getting the gig.

I gotta say that I would love Zenga to join us! The man is a mentalist! At least it would make things interesting and if we are gonna go down (an inevitability with Megson at the helm anyway) we might as well go down with a smile on our faces! We'll have a "have a go" attitude and he wouldn't be afraid (or sane) to do something like play a creative midfielder, or two, or three, or four, maybe all at centre back, whilst mooning the opposition.

Mirror gossip is usually rubbish. Having read a bit about Zenga today, he sounds like he could be even more of a disaster than Megson.

NOBODY could be more of a disaster than Negson. The manager who can make a fifty year fan want his team to lose so that hopefully said manager will get the boot?
