'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Scudamore Disses Gartside

Richard Scudamore has poured cold water mixed with a little scorn on Bolton chairman Phil Gartside`s idea that there should be a two-tier Premier League with no promotion or relegation.

The chief executive of English football`s top tier, told the All Party Parliamentary Football Group: 'It would be attractive to some if the trap door was not there, especially if you are staring down it, but I`d say "not on my watch guv`nor"`

Now all that`s needed is for Scudamore to recognise that his plan for a 39th game is equally bonkers.

39th game my arse,,,,,, We already have two leagues in the Premiership, four in the top league and the rest. Sadly we fall in with the also rans, worth noting we currently alson ran faster than Newcastle, Sunderland and Spurs :-)
