Bolton in for a New Goalkeeper? Yeah, right.

According to the ever reliable Sky Sports website, Bolton are one of the clubs interested in Borussia Dortmund`s Roman Weidenfeller, along with Arsenal, Manchester City, West Ham, and Middlesbrough. That`s a great name for a goalkeeper isn`t it? One wonders about his waist measurement.

Bolton currently have four goalkeepers in the first team squad. There`s Jussi Jaaskelainen, Ali Al Habsi, Adam Bogdan and Ian Walker, who does a stint in the reserves when he`s not rogering American dancers. Walker would probably go home to Leicester, but he`s afraid of what the wife will do to him when he gets there.

The club would seem to be well provided for on the custodian front. There`s young and old. Seasoned and inexperienced. Neat and extremely scruffy. That`s all the bases covered. Gary Megson may be of a defensive mindset, but not even he will be aiming to field a side consisting entirely of the men in green.

Hey rogering American dancers takes skill concentration and in certain positions could improve a players balance, it may even help his sprinting if one of the parents comes knocking.

Indeed. Hand eye co-ordination benefits as well.

.....how many keepers do you need there....or is it just a very big American dance troupe ?

Ali Al Habsi's agent fears Bolton "don't want to keep" the Oman international. Al Habsi came close to a move away from the Reebok in the summer after growing increasingly frustrated at his lack of opportunities. The 26-year-old's current contract expires in the summer and he could leave the club for nothing.
