Gillingham are interested in taking Bolton academy player Michael Burns on loan. 'He might come in for a few more days before we make a decision about taking him on loan. He`s one who gives us balance in the middle and has an eye for a pass,' said manager Mark Stimson.

The attacking midfielder joined the Wanderers from Liverpool last season and showed considerable promise as the season progressed. A move to the league two club, where he could gain first team experience could prove valuable
