Bernard 'Row Z` Mendy Joins Hull

Bernard Mendy has completed his move to Bolton Wanderers Old Boys XI, aka Hull City. The Frenchman spent a year on loan at the Reebok in 2002-3. Mendy was quick. Blindingly quick. Astonishingly, indescribably, improbably quick. He was so quick that sometimes he wasn`t visible to the naked eye. He was so quick that he had to wear a parachute, as without it, he couldn`t stop within the confines of the pitch. He was so quick that sometimes his forays down the wing were followed by a sonic boom. Did we mention that he was quick?

It`s just a pity that he was rubbish with the ball.

Errr, the only other ex-Bolton player at Hull City is Michael Bridges.

Why is nearly every story on this site a bitter swipe at an ex player or manager?
Pking
It's you that sounds bitter Pking. Of the eleven stories published before today, only one is about an ex-player or manager. Maths isn't your strong point is it?
Snout
I think even one is enough.I do enjoy them though.
Pking
Im sorry to keep posting, but Jlloyd Samuel does play for yez so I do feel your pain he is without doubt the worst player Ive ever seen.Get him out of your side as quick as possible hopefully Birmingham City will start sniffing around him again.
Pking
Yes, Samuel is awful. Funnily enough he pulled a hamstring at Brum last season.
FrankieW
Maybe Jloyd injuries come from picking up his wage packet at Bolton?
durkinip
Sad, but true. Whatever he's paid, it's too much.
Gudni
We did have Ralph Gubbins, but that was a while ago!
bournexile
his Lordship Sir Phil will get the best out of this guy....................
