Matt Finish For Bolton!

Bolton Wanderers star Matt Taylor posted his best score of the season to earn a place in the Team of the Week in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League.

The midfielder looked to have fired his side to a famous victory with a first-half double against Arsenal, helping earn him 33 points for his performance at the Reebok Stadium.

Taylor`s previous top score this term came, ironically, for former club Portsmouth against Bolton in August when he collected 21 points.

His efforts saw him climb 65 places into 380th overall, El-Hadji Diouf (99th) and injured goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen the only Trotters in the top 100 so far this term.

Analysis of all Premier League games is taking place throughout the season and the players in the Actim Index Team of the Week are:

Name, Team, Position, Weekly Score

David James, Portsmouth, Goalkeeper, 23

William Gallas, Arsenal, Defender, 35

Ricardo Carvalho, Chelsea, Defender, 32

Glen Johnson, Portsmouth, Defender, 30

John Terry, Chelsea, Defender, 28

Cristiano Ronaldo, Man Utd, Midfielder, 55

Nicky Butt, Newcastle, Midfielder, 37

Matthew Taylor, Bolton, Midfielder, 33

Geremi, Newcastle, Midfielder, 32

Mauro Zarate, Birmingham, Striker, 46

Fernando Torres, Liverpool, Striker, 42

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player`s contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
